The Hanford Advisory Board (HAB), a Federal Advisory Committee, advises the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and plays a key role in producing meaningful and effective involvement on cleanup issues. The HAB operates using committees, task forces and a consensus to address major Hanford policy issues, seeks administrative services support for the Board to coordinate, schedule and plan meeting activities, and various committee conferences. The contract will require one full-time administrator/Office Manager, one full-time administrative clerk and a part-time facilitator, approximately one (1) thousand hours annually. The contractor must have or establish an office within the Tri-Cities, (IE Richland, Kennewick, Pasco Washington). The contractor will provide estimates for the necessary office space and office equipment to support the position and services required. Programmatic direction and supervision will be provided by the board chairperson. The contract period of performance will be for one (1) year with three (3) one (1) year options to start on or about October 1, 1997. Draft RFP will be available for comment on June 3, 1996, and remains open for comment through 3:00 p.m. PDT, June 15, 1996.
