Contract Specialist, Michael Turner, 301/415-6535 The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids for Local and National Newspaper Clipping Services. The contractor shall furnish the necessary qualified personnel, materials, equipment, and facilities to provide daily and weekend clippings related to the nuclear power and other non- defense related uses of radioactive materials from approximately 4000 national, regional, state, and local publications. The period of performance shall be one year with four one year options. The contractor must show written evidence that subscriptions are or will be in place thirty days prior to the effective date of the contract. The contractor will also be required to provide in writing, on specific request of the NRC, a list of regional/state clipping bureaus with which he has arrangements for providing nationwide newspaper coverage.
