Potocki-Reeves, Contract Specialist, 202/435-6940 The U.S. Secret Service has a requirement for hotel accommodations for twenty-four (24) U.S. Secret Service Trainees. One bedroom suites will be required for a period of eleven (11) weeks in duration. Training courses may be extended to twelve (12) or thirteen (13) weeks duration. Suites will be required approximately four (4) to six (6) times per year. Anticipated period of performance 10/01/96 through 09/30/97. Accommodation shall include suites with a separate sleeping/bedroom, which will not adjoin the living area. Suites shall inlcude a separate living/ study area with seating accommodations for at least four individuals. The suites shall at a minimum be equipped with kitchens, to include cooking facilities and a refrigerator. Location Restriction: Hotels shall be located in the District of Colubmia. The hotels shall be located within a ten (10) minute walk of the U.S. Secret Service Training Course to be held at 1310 L Street, NW, Washington, DC. Hotels located outside the ten (10) minute walking parameter, shall transport the Trainees via bus/van and shall be within a 10-minute time frame. Additional Transportaion Requirement: Hotels shall be required to provide transportation for approximately thirty-five (35) days of each eleven week training course. Transportation shall be round-trip from the hotel to the U.S. Secret Service's James J. Rowley Training Center, 9200 Powder Mill Road, Laurel, Maryland and back to the hotel. If the training courses are extended to twelve (12) or thirteen (13) weeks in duration, transportation will be extended to forty (40), and forty-five (45) days respectively.
