Contractor shall provide refurbishment of TRE Optical Pattern Generator with PC drive and Ethernet interface, in accordance with the Statement of Work, and to meet the following specification: minimum linewidth of 1.0um, minimum flash speed of 8,000 flashes/hour, aperture system with height, width, and angle control of individual circuit pattern elements, plateholder accommodating 3.0 in. - 7.0 in. plates in thickness range of 0.06 in. - 0.25 in., IBM 486 compatible data acquisition system equipped with Ethernet network card to interface with existing ARL data processing facilities. It is intended to award this contract to HIGH'born Technology USA, Inc., Boca Raton, FL on a sole source basis. Based on an independent market survey High'born Technology is the only company that can meet critical design specifications after refurbishment and sufficient expertise to provide the required refurbishment.
