DESCRIPTION OF WORK--The work includes demolition and removal, recycling of construction debris, earthwork, airfield and road paving, utilities, fencing, landscaping, concrete, airfield painting, plumbing, mechanical and electrical work, cathodic protection and incidental related work complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is over $10 million.--Firm Fixed Price Contract.--Contract duration is 365 calendar days.--Bids will be considered from all responsible sources.--This project is unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1611 and the annual size standard is $17 million.--It is recommended the subcontracting plan goals reflect a minimum goal of 7% for Small Disadvantaged Business subcontracting effort.--NOTE: Plans and specs will not be mailed to firms within a 20 mile radius of the issuing office. A fee will be charged for all plans and specs.
