Z -- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE, CONSTRUCT AN ADDITION TO BUILDING 18 AT THE NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, CARDEROCK DIVISION, BETHESDA, MD SOL N62477-93-C-6494 DUE 073196 POC David Julian, Contract Specialist, (410) 293-2848. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, material, supervision, and equipment necessary to construct an approximately 2016 square foot addition to building 18. This addition will be used for storage and maintenance of equipment. The work includes drilled cassion and grade beam foundation, slab on grade, CMU walls, open web steel joists, structural and preformed steel, standing seam roof, 12'x 14' overhead rolling door, overhead electric traveling crane with a minimum rated capacity of 2 tons, HVAC, fluorescent lighting, and incidental related work. The estimated cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The SIC is 1541. The projected date for the availability of the solicitation is 27 June 96. The projected bid opening date is 01 August 1996. All responsible sources may submit a bid.
