The General Organization for Greater Cairo Water Supply (GOGCWS), in the Arab Republic of Egypt, requests bids from U.S. firms who can qualify through experience in providing similar equipment to the required vehicles. The required vehicles are three (3) emergency response trucks with 8-cylinder or equivalent 6-cylinder heavy duty water cooled diesel engine, left hand drive, manual transmission with five forward and one reverse speeds, power steering and brakes, front and rear tow hooks, service body with storage compartments on both sides, reinforced mounting for a crane, rear grab handles, crane, air compressor, welder, and associated spare parts to be furnished and delivered to CIP Destination Alexandria, Arab Republic of Egypt. Bidder must have representation for supply of spare parts and service in the Arab Republic of Egypt. A Fixed Price Host Country Contract with GOGCWS is anticipated. Payment will be made in U.S. Dollars by USAID/Cairo through a direct letter of Commitment under USAID Grant No. 263-1093.
