59 -- HIGH CAPACITY TRUCK RADIO(HCTR) SOL DAAB07-94-R-D015 POC Mr. John Bojarski, 908-427-4143. The US Army CECOM, Space & Terrestrial Communications Directorate (S&TCD) has announced, via Broad Agency (BAA) DAAB07-94-R-D015, Topic S026, research interest in the area of HCTR for OTM applications. As a result of a number of internal studies and technology evaluations, S&TCD will have available, by the end of June 1996, a White Paper which addresses some of the lessons learned regarding wideband propagation. These concern OTM issues which need to be addressed in the design of the HCTR. Additionally, several changes have been incorporated since the release of the original BAA submission for the HCTR in its function and deployment and these are also addressed in the White Paper in the form of performance specifications which will need to be met. The intent of this announcement is to have industry review the White Paper and comment as necessary to its technical feasibility and any additional comments relative to the overall HCTR program. Also, a briefing is currently being planned to more specifically detail the BAA requirements. The briefing will be scheduled for early July 1996.
