C -- A/E - CORRECT ARCHITECTURAL BARRIERS SOL rfp 508-96-119 DUE 071096 POC Ed Cohen A/E services are required to provide complete contract drawings and specifications and construction period services for Project 508-96-102, ''Correct Architectural Barriers'', at the VA Medical Center, Decatur GA. Work to include, but is not limited to field investigation/survey/topo, site visits, reviews and as-built drawings on AutoCadd (version R12). The project consists of: replacement of concrete sidewalks, gutter and curbs, concrete ramp installation, hand-rail replacement, parking lot and road re-stripping, landscaping, lighting signage and reworking building entrance areas including doors. Selection criteria consists of: 1) Specialized experience and technical competence to do work required. 2) In-house capabilities to provide investigations and related design services. 3) Adequacy and qualifications of consultants and/or subcontractors to simultaneously produce additional work. 4) Satisfactory demonstrate past performance on related contracts in hospitals, Government agencies or private industries in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules. 5) Demonstrate design quality control practice techniques. 6) Location of firm to this Medical Center. Firms must be within a 200 mile radius of this Medical Center. The SIC for this project is 8712. The estimated construction dollar range is between $250,000-$500,000. THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE ( Annual gross receipts not more than $2.5 million in last 3 fiscal years).
