This notice constitutes notification of intent to solicit quotes to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies and transportation necessary to perform inspection and servicing of the cathodic protection systems of four steel water tanks located at Patrick AFB FL, and the interior cleaning of those tanks. Period of performance will be from 01 Oct 96 through 30 Sep 97, with four option year periods renewable in one-year increments. Personnel performing inspection, test and calibration shall be NACE certified. Performance shall be in accordance with the requirements contained in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Specific requirements and the PWS are to be provided in the solicitation package. The proposed contract is subject to the Service Contract Act. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The applicable SIC code and size standard are 3823/500 emp. Solicitation issue date of 28 Jun 96 and a closing date for receipt of solicitations of 25 Jul 96 are tentative. Requests for solicitation packages should be received by close of business, 4:15 P.M., on 28 Jun 96. Award is contingent upon release of funds for FY97.
