The DVAMC's Birmingham and Tuscaloosa requires Medical Transcription Service for period 10-1-96 through 9-30-97 with four one year renewal options. Contractor will be required to be fluent in technical terminology and specialized vocabularies relevant to dictated materials for medical reports/summaries. Service will include Compensation and Pension Reports, Gulf War Examinations Reports, Discharge Summaries, Operative Reports, Radiology Reports, History and Physicals, Consult Reports, Social Assessments, Mental Status Examinations, and other miscellaneous reports. Report turn around time for Stat Reports will be within a one hour time. Turn around for Radiology Reports will be within 4 hours time. Operative Radiology Reports wilReports will be turned around within 6 hours time. All other reports will be turned around within 24 hours time.
