Sources are sought who can perform the type of work involved. Projects will have a cost range of $25,000 to $5 million. A list follows of possible projects, their location (and associated river), the approximate dates for work completion, and a brief description; 1) Kirkendoll and Holder Revetments (WA, Cowlitz) (July - Dec 96) - excavation, placement of riprap and gravel on destroyed revetment with placement of soil and seeding on bank, 2) Sunset and Stillwell Drainage District and levees at Clatsop #9 Diking improvements (Trask, Nehalem, Young's Bay) (July - Dec 96) - clearing, strip and grub areas, excavation, placement of quarry waste rock and seeding, 3) Rattlesnake location and North Wenix and Simon Springs Levees (Umatilla) ( July - Oct 15, 96) - flood control bank restoration, filter fabric, embankment, bedding material, Class III and IV riprap, seeding, fertilizing and mulching, 4) Marshland Drainage Improvement Company, Webb District Impr. Co., Beaver Drainage Impr. Co., Westland Drainage Impr. Co., Deer Island Drainage District, Magruder Drainage Impr. Co. (Columbia and various sloughs in the Clatskanie area) (Nov - Feb 97) - excavation and placement of quarry waste, sand embankment, seeding, graded rock, placement of rip rap, construction of concrete pipes, replacement of conduits, 5) Cowlitz No. 2 (Lewis/Columbia river), (July - Oct 96), 6) Columbia Co. No. 1, Sauvie Island, Scappoose - (Columbia/Multnomah channel) (July - Oct 96), 7) Multnomah No. 1, Peninsula No. 2, Port of Camas/Washougal Washington - (Columbia River)(Nov - Feb 97), 8) Cowlitz No. 3, Cowlitz No. 15 - (Cowlitz, Columbia) (Nov - Feb 97), 9) Dixon Farms, Twin Island (Clackamas) (July - Aug 96), 10) Shady Dell, (Molalla) (July - Aug 96), 11) Crown, Willamette, Banick, D/S location (Santiam) (July - Aug 96), 12) American Bottom, (Willamette) (July - Aug 96), and others yet to be determined. Interested firms are invited to submit a resume, which may include company name, address, phone and fax numbers, business size, list of primary work performed, technical and personnel capabilities, resources and equipment available, annual sales volume, major accomplishments and references. Companies are advised that performance and payment bonds are required under these contracts. Firms responding should indicate which projects or locations are of interest.
