Also, a limited number of existing metal windows in office areas will be replaced with new energy efficient windows. The work will be performed at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT. There is no know hazardous material in this project. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business; SIC code is 1799; Size Standard is $7 million. There will only be one site visit (which will be identified in the solicitation package) and contractors are strongly encouraged to attend. The resulting contract from this acquisition will be awarded to that responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price-related factors. The price is estimated is between $25,000 and $100,000. It is intended to award a Firm Fixed-Price contract.
