THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; BIDS ARE BEGING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation PAC D 81843-LJ-29 is issued as REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular NO. 90-32. Bidders shall provide unit price, extended amount, and total cubic measurement for the following item. ONE (1) EACH swaging press and TWO (2) open channel dies 1'' single channel. SPECIFICATIONS: ESCO Mark 150 swager, same brand name or equal; capable of swaging fittings on 1 1/2'' wire rope (maximum). 10 h.p. motor with standard electrical requirements of 230-460 volt, 3 phase 60 cycle. Operates @ 2000 p.s.i. utilizing a 2 stage pump at 33 & 55 g.p.m. activated by solenoid control valve which is foot controlled. Oil reservoir is 50 gallons and uses SAE EP 10/20 weight hydraulic oil. Offerors quoting on an equal product (including) a product of the brand name manufacturer other than the one described) will not be considered for award. ONLY GENUINE NEW PARTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
