Notice of Contract Action - Republic of Korea Navy KDX Destroyer Program. In accordance with a country to country agreement between the government of the United States and the Republic of Korea. Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case KS-D-DCK, KS-D-DCL, KS-D-DCM, KS-D-DCN, KS-D-DCO and KS-D-DCQ the Directorate of International Programs of the Air Force Materiel Command's (AFMC's) Electronic Systems Center (ESC) plans to issue a solicitation and award a contract to Rockwell Defense Electronics, Collins Avionics and Communications Division, 350 Collins Road, NE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 52498 for 31 Radio Systems, Part Number AN/GRC-171D(V)4 System, Support Equipment, Technical Support, spares and associated technical data, all to be delivered concurrently. ESC plans to issue the solicitation no later than Jul 1996, and award the contract no later than Oct 1996. The Government intends to negotiate a contract with Rockwell Defense Electronics under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), only one responsible source.
