Movement of Caterpillar Model 3512 Generators and REDCO Switch Gear Control Panel. Contractor is to deinstall, pack/wrap and prepare the equipment for shipment. Equipment is currently installed at Norfolk Naval Air Station, Norfolk, VA. Contractor will then ship the equipment to DMC-Rock Island, Rock Island, IL and reinstall it at the permanent site. All work is to be done in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer standards. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals. The resultant contract will be firm, fixed price. All responses from responnsible sources will be considered for evaluating the determination to issue a sole source Purchase Order.
