MOODY (334) 255-1067 (Site Code DABT01) Notice is given of the intent to negotiate a sole source acquisition with Honeywell, Inc., 820 South University Blvd, Bldg 2, Suite F, Mobile, AL, to upgrade obsolete components within the existing Honeywell Delta 5600 Energy Monitoring and control System (EMCS) at Fort Rucker, Alabama with current technology components. Upgrading the EMCS will continue the existing requirement for uninterrupted monitoring and control of the existing EMCS operation. All plant, labor, materials, parts, components, equipment and engineering services necessary shall be provided to upgrade components of the existing EMCS. The upgraded system components shall communicate via the existing Local Area networks (LAN), Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and Personal Computers (PC) based Operator Work Stations (OWS). Existing components shall be modified or replaced to allow communication with the upgraded OWS and shall incorporate the same graphical programming language now utilized for the existing central DDC at Fort Rucker. All existing field hardware shall be reconnected to the upgraded system. Any factory retrofits manufactured by Honeywell for EMCS as a whole or for specific components shall be procured by the contractor and completely implemented into the system at the contractor expense.
