Contractor shall furnish all necessary material, equipment, tools, supplies, labor, services and supervision to replace the roof on Bldg. 7, at the Dept. of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, North Chicago, IL. Work includes, but is not limited to:remove existing roof, fascia, gutters and downspouts, provide and install asphalt shingles, fascia, gutters and downspouts. Estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The completion time for this project is 180 calendar days, after receipt of notice to proceed. A bid guarantee is required in an amount, not less than 20% of the bid price. This is a unrestricted procurement available to all responsible sources. A site visit is scheduled for 7/11/96 at 9:00 A.M. local time, and all bidders are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.
