General services administration wishes to announce that on or about July 1, 1996, the Solicitation FCGE-96-0017-N for COST-per-copy (CPC) copier requirements for the Department of the Navy, Defense Printing Service detachment Branch office (dpsdbo) and any other DOD/Federal Government activities for whom dpsdbo is acting as an agent in the key West, Florida area will be issued. This procurement will require furnishing of copiers and all accessories, furnishiingand delivery of consumable supplies (except paper), emergency repair service, periodic preventive maintenance and key operators training. Copier requirements have been broken down into three volume bands defined as follows: Volume band I,15 copies per minute minimum, and 1-5,000 copies per month; volume band II, 20 copies per minute minimum, and 5,001-15,000 copies per month; volume band III,30 copies per minute minimum, and 15,001-30,000 per month. The Defense Printing Service detachment Branch office has Given an initial machine estimate of 81 units. Offered copiers are to be the manufacturer'S current productionmodels, either new or newly remanufactured. This procurement will benegotiated. One award will be made. The resultant contract will be a firm, fixed price, requirements type contract. The contract period for this procurement will be for one year beginning 01 October 1996, through 30 September 1997, with the option to extend for three years.
