NOTICE: UPDATE TO SYNOPSIS FOR JOINT TACTICAL TERMINAL (JTT) WHICH APPEARED IN THE COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ON 29 SEPTEMBER 1995, ISSUE NO. PSA-1442. A draft RFP was made available on the CECOM Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) on 5 June 1996 and may be accessed via Solicitation No. DAAB07-96-R-S998. Issuance of the solicitation is anticipated to be in June 1996. Source selection procedures will be used to determine the best value proposal to the Government. Contract award is expected no later than September 1996. This competitive contract will consist of a basic Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) contract with two consecutive one year LRIP options and seven additional options for full Scale Production (FSP). The contract type for LRIP in years 1-3 and FSP in year 4 will be Firm Fixed Price. FSP in years 5-10 will be FFP with Economic Price Adjustment (EPA) on material. The JTT consists of two versions: JTT-Transmit/Receive version and the JTT-Receive only version. Ten year requirements total 1000 each-2000 each Terminals. CIBS-M modules may be purchased starting in year 2 by exercise of options for individual hardware and software modules. Requirements also include a ten (10) year failure free warranty,documentation, training, validation, and T&M efforts consisting of out of warranty repair and host system integration services and studies. The solicitation will require Secret and COMSEC facility clearances and SCI for a limited number of personnel. (0163)
