Febach,(301) 975-6326 The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to acquire on a sole source basis from Real Time Innovations, Inc., Sunnyvale, CA, one each of the following items: ControlShell License, one copy of host tools, five target licenses and one year of maintenance; GNU toolkit; Network Data Delivery Service License 10 Network Nodes and one year of maintenance; Copy Floating Licenses for Stethoscope and one year of maintenance; Upgrade to-2 Copy Floating License for Stethoscope and one year of maintenance; 5 Target License for ScopeProfile and RTILib, bundled with Stethoscope; Control Shell Manual set, including user's manual, reference manual volume 2; Network Data Delivery Service User's Manual; Stethoscope Manual Set including Stethoscope user's manual, RTILib Reference Manual. The Contracting Officer has determined in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 that Real Time Innovations, Inc., is the only responsible source and no other will satisfy NIST technical reqirements for the delivery of the requirement within 15 calendar days after contract award. These technical requirements include: high-bandwidth servocontrol, multi-processor control for true pre-emptive scheduling, an object oriented matrix/vector library which opens and extends to add specialized needed operations, complex mode switching control, and support of various types of real-time hardware.
