Wright-Patterson Air Force Base requires long-life, reusable, aluminum containers. The containers shall be manufactured in accordance with the government furnished production level drawing package and specification. The package consists of three different containers, similar in design and size. The containers' function is to transport and store one each, Electronic Equipment. The container must be water-vapor proof with controlled breathing over disiccant. Requirement includes 2 of each design for first article containers and 71 total production containers. Delivery shall be to Pope AFB NC. Sources were sought on about April 24, 1996. All sources that responded will be sent a copy of the solicitation. This solicitation will be issued approx 96 Jul 1. The solicitation will close on 31 Jul 96. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. No tel requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition.
