The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Detachment Washington DC (FISC, Wash.) intends to award a sole source, cost plus fixed fee contract to General Research Corporation International, Inc. (GRCI) of 1900 Gallows Road, Vienna, VA 22182 for (1) database management for the Naval Space Command mission system and (2) provide operational test and evaluation support for surveillance of space, provide space control and space force enhancement support to the Naval Space Command and their operating forces. The software to be modified is proprietary to GRCI and will be modified to meet Naval Space Command requirements to construct developmental operational T&E plans, provide an independent assessment of test results, to validate the operational testing, and to document results. In addition, T&E support is required for testing of stand-alone mission systems, including special project DB-15. The contract will be for a base year with three one year options plus the six month option to extend services contained in FAR 52.217-8. See Note 22. (0163)
