Contractor shall provide all labor and personnel required to plan and organize directed and self-directed activities designed to meet the needs and interests of youth family members in 1st through 12th grades. Youth Center shall be open six days per week, Monday thru Saturday, 48 hours per week. Monday through Wednesday 12.00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.; Thursday through Saturday 12:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Youth center is located at Defense Distribution Region West, Sharpe Facility, Lathrop, California. Youth center shall be in operation during Easter and Christmas vacations. Contractor shall offer the following self-directed activities on a daily basis: recreational reading, television viewing, billiards, video games, chess, checkers, ping-pong, tether ball and computer activities. Basic supplies and special materials deemed reasonable by the Government will be provided by the Government for approved activities. Contractor shall provide the following activities based on their assessment of community needs and desires. Field trips, camping, nature study, teen clubs, pre-teen clubs, special interest groups such as stamp and coin collecting, sewing and homemaking. Sports and Fitness to include but not limited to skill building clinics, individual and group sports, fitness programs and activities, health services, nutrition counseling, Youth Olympics and other activities and functions. Standard Industrial Code is 8322 for which the Small Business Size Standard is $5.0 Million. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered.
