This requirement was originally synopsized 12/12/95 but never issued due to a change in the Statement of Work. The following are the estimated annual requirement: NSN 1615-01-158-9678, P/N: 70101-31000-046, Rotor Rudder Blade, est. qty 50; NSN 1615-01-158-9679, P/N: 70150-29100-041, est. qty 40. Anticipate award of one contract, with a base period from date of award through 9/30/96, with options to renew on an annual basis not to exceed five (5) years total. Based on the requirement for mandatory ''whirling'' of each reworked blade, the Coast Guard intends to negotiate with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, the Original Equipment Manufacturer and the only facility with the required whirl stand. The Coast Guard does not own, nor can it provide, drawings or specifications for these items. The solicitation will be issued on or about 17 June 1996.
