Space and Missile System Center, MILSATCOM Joint Program Office (SMC/MC), is inviting informational comments for the Global Broadcast Service (GBS) Office. A series of questions have been placed on the GBS World Wide Web Homepage (www.laafb.af.mil/MC/gbs/index.html). The objective of these questions is increased understanding of: for example 1) emerging commercial communication technologies that can be used in certain areas to augment system designs or could be adapted and/or replicated for military use, 2) emerging or existing software that is available for GBS broadcast management, 3) vulnerabilities (viruses, foreign intelligence services, civilian hackers) of the GBS system stemming from its use of commercially available technology.
