DESCRIPTION OF WORK--The work includes the addition of aproximately 2,800 square feet to the east end of Building 226 at Marine Corps Logistics Base, Barstow, California. Addition to existing building will contain new office areas, restrooms, breakroom and incidental related work, complete and ready for use. The following work may be included under Additive Bid Items of work: New septic system for existing and new building, new electrical transformer system, handicap ramp and cabinetry and acoustic insulation.--The estimated cost is between $100,000 and $250,000.--Firm Fixed Price Contract.--Contract duration is 150 calendar days.--Bids will be considered from all responsible sources.--This project is unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1542 and the annual size standard is $17 million.--NOTE: Plans and specs will not be mailed to firms within a 20 mile radius of the issuing office. A fee will be charged for all plans and specs.
