The work includes site preparation for the installation of the ILS Mark 1F equipment as manufactured by Wilcox Electric, Inc. It will provide ILS operations for Runway 32 at the Naval Air Station, Whiting Field, Milton, FL. Installation of equipment will be done by others. The scope of the project requires site grading; constructing concrete foundations for antenna array and localizer; two small shelters; and glideslope antenna. The work includes trenching and installation of conduit and conductors along with a grounding system. The work also includes installation of a transformer and load centers with breakers, ground rods (3/4''x10'), fire protection, and misc connections and fittings. Work will be in accordance with the Base Electronics System Engineering Plan (BESEP). There is a $30.00 (NON-REFUNDABLE) fee per set of plans and specifications.
