This is a solicitation notice for the project entitled ``Repair/Alter Base Entrance, Building #307''. Successful contractor shall provide labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals as required to construct a new 500 SF Gatehouse which is slab on grade, metal stud wall, brick exterior, and standing seam metal roof. Contractor shall rebuild base entrance drive and construct a new concrete retaining wall and overlay the existing entrance with new asphaltic concrete pavement. Work shall further include installation of all required utilities such as water, sanitary sewer, and electrical; re-vegetation of surrounding landscaped areas; demolition of the existing gatehouse, Building 307, and base entrance; and relocation and refurbishment of the base entrance sign. All of the work described above is to be accomplished within the compound of the Tennessee Air National Guard at McGhee Tyson Airport, Knoxville, Tennessee. Performance time is 160 calendar days. Plans and specifications will be available on or about June 14, 1996. Bid-Opening will be on or about July 25, 1996. A non-refundable certified check or money order is required for plans and specifications in the amount of $25.00 made payable to the Treasurer of the United States. The solicitation will be furnished at no cost. Plans and specifications will also be available for review at various plans houses within the state.
