SOL N62766-96-B-2602 DUE 081496 POC Contact Ms. Rose Wesley, Contract Specialist, (671) 333-2985/7 FAX 339-4248 This project is for the modification of kitchen/utility and bathroom areas and replacement of exterior doors and windows for 24 units of the officer's quarters (Type F - 10 units), (Type F'- 10 units), (Type G - 4 units), including all related mechanical and electrical work and incidental work. The bidding schedule is Base Bid for the entire work to accomplish the replacement of exterior doors and windows, Option Bid Item #1 for the entire work to accomplish the modifications of the kitchen and utility areas, Option Bid Item #2 for the entire work to accomplish the modifications of the bathroom areas, and Option Bid Item #3 for the entire work for the addition of a new bathroom and bedroom closet for Type G units and other related incidental work, complete and in accordance with the drawings and specifications. The work is located at Old Apra Heights Housing Area, U.S. Navy Public Works Center, Guam, M.I. The performance period is 240 calendar days from the date of award. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 for the Base Bid and Three Option Bid Items. Award will be made within the allowable spending limits appropriated for the project. The Government reserves the right to exercise an option by written notice to the Contractor within 180 calendar days. A limited number of plans and specifications will be available on or about 08 July 1996 at no charge and issued on a first come first serve basis. The bid opening date is 14 August 1996 at 2:00 P.M.
