Replace underground steam and condensate lines, Postwide at Carlisle Barracks, PA. The project work consists of replacing approximately 1100 ft of underground high pressure (50 psig) steam supply and condensate return lines (both lines in a common conduit along with abandoned domestic hot water lines) with new separate steam and condensate lines which will be located both under paved roadways and lawn areas and at various (8 separate) locations on the installation. Line sizes vary from one to eight inches in diameter. This contract will be a requirements type contract. The base period is from 15 May through 15 Oct 1997 with an option period of 15 May through 15 Aug 1998. Estimated cost range for the period is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
