Z -- EMERGENCY ELEVATOR RECALL SOL IFB 620-6-96 DUE 080896 POC Martha Bartolini, 914-737-4400, ext. 2206 Furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary for Project No. 620-91-144 to provide emergency recall for twenty hydraulic elevators for Buildings 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 13, 14, 15, 28, and 52, and six elevators with hoistway smoke ventilation systems. Work includes all general construction, asbestos abatement, elevator and mechanical work required by the specifications and drawings. Estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. A limited number of bid packages will be available on or about 7/8/96 and will be issued on a first come first serve basis until supply is exhausted. No fee for plans and specs. Requests for the solicitation shall be in writing on company letterhead, addressed to the Contracting Officer, address above. No telephone or fax requests will be honored. Mandatory contract completion time is 203 calendar days. BOD is 8/8/96 at 2:00 p.m. local time, and all bidders are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.
