notification is being circulated in accordance with Article 10.6.

Notified under Article 2.9.2. 4. Products covered (HS or CCCN where
applicable, otherwise national tariff heading. ICS numbers may be
provided in addition, where applicable): Heating appliances, cooking
appliances, space heaters, heat source of nominal heat output up to
70kW for central heating or for central hot water production,
distribution, and heat transfer parts of central heating systems
including systems with air thermal units and flue gas ducting of 1.5 m
length. 5. Title, number of pages and language(s) of the notified
document: Draft Czech Standard CSN 06 1008 Fire Protection of Heating
Appliances. 6. Description of content: Draft standard specifies
technical requirements for the fire safety during installation, design
and assembly of heating appliances (HAs) in buildings both stable and
temporary, and in road vehicles. It also specifies test conditions and
methods for determination of safety clearances between HAs and
combustible surfaces, as well as the technical requirements for
technical documentation as regards the fire protection. It includes a.
o. the following Chapters and Annexes: 4. Common Requirements for
Installation of HAs, 5. Special Requirements for Installation of HAs,
6. Requirements for Installation of HAs due to Environs
Characteristics, 7. Garages, Services and Fuel Filling Stations, 8.
Testing Methods, 9. Record of Testing, 10. Consequent Changes in the
Design or Construction of HAs, 12. Technical Documentation. Annex A:
Allowable Installation of HAs due to Environs Characteristics. Annex B:
Equipment for Testing Appliances for Cooking, Heating and Hot Water
Preparation, for Heat Sources and Heat-Exchanging Parts of Central
Heating Systems. Annex C: Testing Equipment for Appliances Using Liquid
and Gaseous Fuels Type B. Annex D: Safe Distances for HAs Produced and
Used in Compliance with Formerly Valid Standards. Annex E: Passage of
Flue Gas Ducting Through Ceiling Made of Combustible Materials. Annex
F: Passage of Flue Gas Ducting Through Wall Made of Combustible
Materials. Annex G: Categorization of the Local HAs and of the Central
Heating Systems. Annex H: Review of the Environs Characteristics.
Chapters 1 and 10, and Articles 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 6.1.3, 6.2.1, 6.2.2,
6.3.4, 6.4.1, 7.1,9.1,12.2, and Annex A are proposed to be mandatory.
7. Objective and rationale: Compliance with corresponding EN and ISO
standards as regards the requirements for surface temperatures and test
methods including test equipment for determining the allowable
clearances between HAs and combustible surfaces. 8. Relevant documents:
