L -- CONTRACTOR FIELD SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES IN SUPPORT OF THE AH-64A APACHE SOL DAAJ09-94-G-0009 POC Deborah L. Rumpf, Contracting Officer, (314)263-0693. The Government anticipates entering into a sole source contract with McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems (MDHS), 5000 East McDowell Road, Mesa, AZ 85215-9797. This acquisition is for the contract field services, as defined in Army Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement 37.7091, by the assignment of Contractor Field Service Representatives (CFSRs) on location, and in support of the AH-64A Apache aircraft, systems and components. The CFSRs will provide on-the-spot advice to resolve technical problems incident to the operation of the equipment. The contractor will provide a communications link for the CFSRs to contact the engineering section at the manufacturer's facility to enable immediate resolution of technical problems that exceed organic capability. A direct link is essential to maintain unit readiness and aircraft availability. Period of performance for this effort is 01 October 1996 thru 30 September 1997, with an option for one additional year. See Numbered Note(s): 22. (0164)
