is hosting a forum/conference to examine the question ``Should U.S.
software engineers be licensed?'' on 25-26 June 1996 in St Louis,
Missouri. The forum will examine each side of the issues surrounding
professional certification and its effect on the U.S. software
industry. The NSC Forum is in cooperation with Naval Surface Warfare
Center (Dahlgren Division), IEEE Computer Society, ACM, and Washington
University CAIT, with assistance from Rome Laboratory. The home page
