HSC/PKOV intends to modify an existing purchase order issued for maintaining stocks of Murine (mouse) Variant Cell Line L5178Y S/S using defined simplified medium, maintaining stocks of transfected cell line (S)L5178Y S/S using defined simplified and/or other defined media as well as providing X-Ray or Gamma-Ray survival curve data at different positions through the cell cycle for the variant cell line and up to three transfected cell line(s), Biohazard P2 provided by the contractor. The scope of work also includes ensuring that the transfected cell lines are stable prior to shipment to provider for analysis. All such transfected cell lines will remain the sole property of the USAF (DOD) at the end of the period of the technical performance. Provide survival data on combined effects of heat and X-Ray exposure for transfected cell line(s). After analysis, the contractor will preserve frozen samples of the transfected cells in liquid nitrogen until the end of the period of performance and return or destroy samples. Purchase order F41622-95-M-K018 was issued to Colorado State University for a 12 month period of performance.
