McCarthy at (612) 290-5409 Work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to excavate and transport existing dredged material from two borrow/stockpile areas: (1) the Alma Marina in Alma, Wisconsin; and (2) an island in the Mississippi River located upstream from Alma, Wisconsin. Such removed existing material is to be disposed of in various potential on-land placement sites located in Buffalo County, Wisconsin. This procurement is issued unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (Public Law 100-656). SIC Code - 1629; Small Business Size Standard is $17 million. The Corps of Engineers is committed to substantive participation of small disadvantaged (SDB) and women- owned enterprises in the performance of this contract. If you are a large business and your bid will exceed $1,000,000 you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan. For this contract, the following goals expressed in terms of percentages of total planned subcontracting dollars will be established: Small Business - 52.5%, Small Disadvantaged Business - 8.00%, Women-Owned Small Business - 3.0% and Subcontracting Reporting (SF294 & SF295) - 100.0%. The estimated magnitude of construction in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.
