Z -- CORRECT ACCESS DEFICIENCIES SOL 564-7-96 DUE 073196 POC Donna Lenz, Contract Specialist (501) 444-5035 Provide all labor, material, equipment and supervision to Correct Access Deficiencies at the VA Medial Center, Fayetteville, Arkansas. Work includes but is not limited to the remodeling of +325 s.f. of existing space (women's toilet, men's toilet and janitor closet) within the main hospital (Building 1) for ADA requirements. The work also includes removal and installation of exterior/site concrete walks, ramps, and curbs, and the installation of interior handrails (from Building #1 to Building #2 and #3) for ADA requirements. Additionally, the work includes the removal of water pipe and fitting insulation. In addition to the asbestos containing materials, the following materials also need to be removed: those portions of the plaster and clay tile walls where the water pipes are located inside the men's and women's restrooms separating them from the H.A.C. room. All work shall be performed in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Estimated cost range: Between $25,000 and $100,000. A total of twenty bid packages will be issued on a first come-first serve basis on or about July 1, 1996.
