combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items for the Department
of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Washington, DC, prepared in
accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information in this notice. The Standard Industrial
Classification Code is 5112. This announcement constitutes the only
solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation
will NOT be issued. GENERAL SPECIFICATION -- PAPER PRODUCT
REQUIREMENTS: Color/White; Basic Weight/20.2 lb.(76.0 + 3.9 grams/sq.
meter); Smoothness: 100 Minimum/190 Maximum; Stiffness: MD 1.9
Minimum/CD .8 Maximum; Brightness/86.0%; Opacity/88.0%; Moist. % by
weight/4.5; Acid Content/PH 5.5 minimum; Dust/Not more than 65 mg per
carton; Cut Quality/2.5mm; In-Seam Curl/0-15 MM FSMD; Paper Packing
Requirements/Poly laminated moisture proof ream wrap for protection.
Pallets should be shrink-wrapped to protect cartons from dirt and
moisture. The paper shall be free from wrinkles, splices, foldovers,
holes, and tears. Reams of paper shall be free from lint, dust and glue
spots. QUANTITY: 22 pallets (40 cases per pallet). The provision at

Items, shall be completed and included with your bid. The following
