B -- ANNUAL AGENCY AUDIT POC Della Glenn, USTDA, Room 309, SA-16, Washington, D.C. 20523-1602, Tel: (703) 875-4357, Fax No.: (703) 875-4009 The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (TDA) intends to procure, on a sole source basis, follow on services from KPMG Peat Marwick, under statutory authority 41 USC 253(c)(1), as implemented under FAR 6.302-1, to conduct an agency audit of TDA's financial system. TDA has determined that it is likely that award to a source other than the original source would result in (i) substantial duplication of cost to the Government which is not expected to be recovered through competition, and (ii) unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's needs. The period of performance is from August 1996 through option year 1998. The proposed contract action is for one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. This synopsis is a notice of intent to place a contract and shall not be considered a request for offers. (0165)
