option period. Twelve month base period consists of recap and spot
repair of the following estimated quantities of tires: NSN

cure method, Full Cap, approximately 200 each; NSN 2610-00-262-8677,
Size 900 X 20, 8 Ply, Military Tread, recap by mold cure method, Full
Cap, approximately 188 each; NSN 2610-01-171-4746, Size 36 X 12.5 X
16.5, 6 Ply, recap by mold cure method, Full Cap, All-Terrain Tread,
approximately 1663 each; NSN 2610-01-126-1576, Size 1600 R 20, 26 Ply,
Lug Tread, recap by pre cure method, Top Cap, approximately 66 each;
NSN 2610-01-214-1344, Size 1400 R 20, 20 Ply, Lug Tread, recap by the
pre cure method, Top Cap, approximately 143 each; NSN 2610-01-148-1635,
Size LT235/85R16, 10 Ply, Mud and Snow Tread, recap by pre cure method,
Top Cap, approximately 11 each. Contractor's price shall include nail
hole, spot, and sectional repair, of the tire casings. Estimated twenty
percent (20%) of the casings will require repair. Recap and repairs
shall be in accordance with Federal Specification ZZ-T-441H, dated June
13, 1989. Award predicated on prospective contractor providing evidence
of certification of the production facility from a government approved
nationally recognized tire retreading association or a Government
approved tire retreading quality assurance system within the preceding
twelve (12) month period. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small
business concerns. Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7534. For
purposes of determining small business status for this acquisition, the
average annual receipts of a concern and its affiliates for the
preceding three fiscal years must not exceed $7 million. Period of
performance for the twelve month base period of performance is
anticipated to be from 1 September 96 through 31 August 97. Pick-up and
delivery will be thirty (30) calendar days after receipt of delivery
order for quantities of 50 - 100 tires; sixty (60) calendar days for
quantities of 101 - 300 tires. Tires to be delivered FOB destination,
