R -- TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE SERVICES FOR SMALL DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES WITH THE AIR FORCE (AF) AND AF PRIME CONTRACTORS POC Contact Jana Gordin, Contracts Specialist at (202) 767-7983 or Lisa Romney, Contracting Officer at (202) 767-8099 The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Latin American Management Association (LAMA), and modify their existing contract for additional technical assistance services for small disadvantaged businesses (SDBs) attempting to contract with the Air Force (AF) and AF prime contractors. The contemplated modification will extend the contract period of performance from 31 July 1996 to 31 July 1997. In order for responses to be considered, interested sources responding to this announcement must meet the following minimum requirements: 1) have access to detailed databases which capture the capabilities of small disadvantaged businesses performing on DOD contracts (particularly SDB manufacturing firms doing business with major AF prime contractors); and 2) provide evidence that they have extensive knowledge about, and experience with, the AF Mentor Protege' Program and the AF Comprehensive Subcontracting Program. A solicitation package is not available. Any information provided to the Government in response to this announcement shall be done so completely at the respondent's expense, become the property of the Government, and will not be returned.
