approximately 10,250 square foot USCG Station Honolulu
boathouse/shop/administration/berthing building, a fueling pier and
system, and a 140 sf public restroom building; dredging of the boatslip
area; andconstruction of an 11,600 sf, steel framed, two-story
boathouse facility for mooring two 47-foot motor lifeboats, spaces for
administrative, shop, personnel berthing, and public toilets;
construction of a new boat fueling system, with a 2000
gallonabove-ground diesel fuel storage tank; realignment of adjacent
roadways; associated utilities, site improvements, and landscaping; and
provision of temporary accommodations for operational needs during
project construction. Sequencing of constructionactivities shall ensure
that all Coast Guard operations continue uninterrupted throughout
project construction, including all aspects of boat operations,
administration, ready crew berthing, technical support, and utilities.
Portions of the workrequire removal and disposal of contaminated
material including, but not limited to, cement asbestos board siding
coated with lead-containing paint, lead sheeting, asbestos-containing
flooring mastic, and marine sediment containing metals,ated biphenyls
(PCB's), and petroleum hydrocarbons. All demolition, dredging,
remediation, and disposal activities shall be conducted in accordance
with an approved demolition plan, State of Hawaii-mandated Best
Management Practices, and all applicablelocal, state, and federal
regulations. SIC Code 1541. The estimated price range for this contract
is between $1 and $5 million. Duration of the contract is approximately
15 months. There is a Nonrefundable Charge of $20.00 for each

provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against

Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable
