Z -- REHABILITATION OF SANITARY SEWER LINES SOL 263-96-P(BC)-0127 POC Sheri Lawson, Contract Specialist on 301/402-3065 or Edward Wilgus, Contracting Officer on 301/402-3070. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials and equipment required to provide inspection and to rehabilitate the sanitary sewer distribution system throughout the campus of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, Maryland 20892. The Contractor shall rehabilitate the Sanitary System throughout the NIH. Repair includes, but not limited to: (a) cleaning, hauling and disposal of debris, (b) visual inspection of the sanitary sewer pipe sections utilizing Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), (c) perform pin-point repairs of the sewer pipe sections as needed, (d) reconstruction of the sanitary sewer pipe lines by installation of resin-impregnated flexible tube which is inverted into the existing pipe by the use of hydrostatic water head cured-in-place pipe (CIPP), (e) visual inspection of the CIPP process to verify the proper application of the material by CCTV, (f) gravity pipe leakage testing and reinstatement of the service connections or opening of laterals, (g) restoration of site to its original conditions and (h) perform emergency services/repairs in accordance with the Specifications/Work Statement as listed in the solicitation. Contract shall be for a basic twelve month period with four option years. Solicitation will be issued on or about 15 calendar days after publication with closing date 30 calendar days after issue date. (0165)
