Jefferies, Contracting Officer, (615)454-7841 This acquisition is for repaving approximately eight miles of Wattendorf Highway at Arnold AFB Base (Arnold Engineering Development Center), Tennessee. The contract will consist of a base bid for repaving the segment of highway from Gate 2 to UTSI Road and two options for repaving the respective segments of the highway from UTSI Road to Rifle Range Road and from Rifle Range Road to Tullahoma. Major elements of work include cold planing of existing bituminous pavement, pavement patching, construction of underdrains, bituminous binder course, bituminous surface course, bridge repair, joint sealing, pavement marking, and shoulder repair. The performance period shall be sixty days following receipt of a Notice to Proceed for each of the three segments of highway. Estimated order of magnitude for the entire project, including options, is between $1M and $5M. Any responsible firm may submit a bid which shall be considered. Foreign participation is authorized. Any firm responding to this notice should do so in writing and should indicate whether or not it is a small business and whether or not it is a small disadvantaged business.
