General services administration wishes to announce that on or about July 3, 1996, the Solicitation FCGE-96-0019-N for COST-per-copy (CPC) copier requirements for the Department of the Navy, Naval air station and any otherdod/Federal Government activity for whom Naval air station is acting as an agent in the Dallas, Texas area will be issued. This procurement will require furnishing of copiers and all accessories, furnishing and delivery of consumable supplies (except paper), emergency repair service, periodic preventive maintenance and key operators training. Copier requirements have been broken down into four volume bands defined as follows: Volume band I, 15 copies per minute minimum, and 1-5,000 copies per month; volume band II, 20 copies per minute minimum, and 5,001-15,000 copies per month; volume band III, 30 copies per minute minimum, and 15,001-30,000 copies per month; volume band IV, 45 copies per minute minimum, and 30,001-50,000 copies per month. The Naval air station service has Given an initial machine estimate of 60 units. Offered copiers are to be the manufacturer'S current production models, either new or newly remanufactured. This procurement will be negotiated. One award will bemade. The resultant contract will be a firm, fixed price, requirements typecontract. The contract period for this procurement will be for one year beginning 01 October, 1996, through 30 September 1997, with the option to extend for three years.
