47 -- HOSES FOR M43A1 CHEMICAL BIOLOGICAL MASK REWORK SOL DAAM01-96-R-0052 DUE 073196 POC Contract Specialist Louise Cannaliato (410) 671-4448 Contracting Officer Josephine Barker (410) 671-2541 (Site Code DAAM01) The U.S. Army Chemical Biological and Devense Command (CBDCOM) is seeking qualified sources to provide proposals for the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price production contract for the initial production of 7260 hoses with an option for an additional 6500 hoses for the M43A1 Chemical Biological Mask rework program. This is a 100% set-aside for small business with no more than 500 employees. The hoses for the mask shall be flexible and crush-resistant rubber hose that will be used in aviation life support equipment for the U.S. Army rotary wing aircraft. The hose shall be built so that it meets the specification requirements contained in the Purchase Description No. EA-H-1692. The hose shall withstand Chemical Biological attacks and adverse environments and shall also be easily decontaminated for re-use. Prior to production, a first article testing in accordance with Purchase Description No. EA-H-1692 is required. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about 1 July 1996.
