Current source for this item is Northrop Corp., Precision Products Division, Norwood, MA 02062-4625. A complete technical data package defining the manufacture and acceptance of this item is not available from the Amry. Suppliers capable of furnishing an alternate item must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-AA, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the current source or a statement from current source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with the item that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the item the current source supplies for this NSN. Successful suppliers may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorilly perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. Only units that have satisfactorily completed qualification testing for this application will be procured.
