59 -- MK84 DEPOT UPGRADE FOR TESTING AIR COOLED SOLID STATE FREQUENCY CONVERTER (ACSSFC) DLR(S) SOL N00024-96-NR-41052 POC LCDR Mel Jones, Contract Specialist, (703) 602-8105 X516. The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a modification on a sole source basis to Power Paragon, Power Systems Group of 901 East Ball Road, Anaheim, CA 92805. Their completion of Phase I of this effort, and the physical location of the MK84 depot at Power Systems Group, make them uniquely suited for this second and final phase. The modification will add CLIN 0007 to contract N00024-95-C-5162 for the Solid State Frequency Converter repairable depot (MK84) upgrade. The Contractor shall fabricate, certify and validate changes to the resident MK84 depot to include (ACSSFC) DLR test and repair capability. The test equipment test performance standards (TETPSs) shall be updated for each test set for Navy recertification. A technical repair standard (TRS) shall be developed for each new ACSSFC DLR to be serviced at the facility. At completion of this phase, the MK84 depot shall be capable of test and repair for all of the ACSSFC DLRs. This is a one time upgrade of the MK84 depot facility for test and trouble shooting of DLRs, it does not include DLR repair work. See Numbered Note(s): 22. (0169)
