to provide all data required by the Source Approval Brochure or
document previous submission of all data required by the Source
Approval Brochure will not be considered for award under this
solicitation. Please note, if evaluation of a source approval request
submitted hereunder cannot be processed in time and/or approval
requirements preclude the ability to obtain subject items in time to
meet government requirements, award of the subject requirement may

REPAIR, OVERHAUL AND/OR MODIFICATION, INCLUDING MATERIAL CONTROL,
REPORTING AND MANAGEMENT, OF COMPONENTS USED TO SUPPORT THE HEADS-UP
DISPLAY AND DIGITAL DISPLAY INSTRUMENTS UTILIZED ON F/A-18 AIRCRAFT.
PENDING ACTION WILL ALSO EXTEND PRESENT REPAIR COVERAGE FOR THE
HEADS-UP DISPLAY AND SIGNAL PROCESSOR UTILIZED ON AH1 AIRCRAFT
(N00383-96-Y-T107 APPLIES TO LATTER).THESE REPAIRS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR
THROUGH MODIFICATION OF BASIC ORDERING AGREEMENT N00383-92-G-K209, TO
EXTEND THE CURRENT ORDERING PERIOD THROUGH 15 JULY 97. REPAIR OF THE
F/A-18 HUD ITEMS HAS BEEN CLASSIFIED AS ''CORE''. THE SUBJECT BOA WILL
PROVIDE FOR REPAIRS, OVERHAUL AND/OR MODIFICATION EFFORTS WHICH ARE
BEYOND THE NAVY'S ORGANIC REPAIR CAPABILITY. KAISER ELECTRONICS SAN
JOSE, CA, IS THE ONLY KNOWN COMMERCIAL SOURCE CAPABLE OF PROVIDING SUCH
REPAIR EFFORT. COMPLETE DATA REUIRED TO SUPPORT SUCH EFFORT BY ANY
OTHER SOURCE IS NOT AVAILABLE FROM THE GOVERNMENT. THE VARIOUS ITEMS
